HOW TO ENTER

The “Visit Pensacola Social Media Giveaway”

Contest will begin on Nov. 21, 2011 and end on Dec. 8, 2011 at 11:59 p.m.

To participate in the contest, “Like” Visit Pensacola on our Facebook page, at www.facebook.com/visitpensacola

Existing fans who wish to participate must enter their information on the form setup on our Facebook page.
We will be asking fans who wish to enter the contest to enter their first and last name and email address on the form provided on our Facebook fan page.

Only one entry per person allowed.

Winners will be notified via email through the address they provide, Dec. 9 from enews@visitpensacola.com. Please ensure you add this address to your whitelist. The winner will be featured on our Facebook page for the next promotion.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

The contest is open to Visit Pensacola Facebook fans who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Visit Pensacola, its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, its advertising agency, and members of their immediate families and/or households, its participating sponsors/promotional partners, and members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

Only one winner per household, per contest month, is permitted in the “Visit Pensacola Social Media Giveaway” contest.

OTHER RESTRICTIONS. No automated or bot-driven entries allowed. Any attempt to defraud contest or contest rules will result in disqualification.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Decisions of the Visit Pensacola Facebook management team with respect to the contest are final.
One winner will be selected Friday, December 9. All winners will be selected by a randomized drawing. You must enter a valid email address. We will contact you through the email address you provided in the registration.

Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries.

Winners must execute and return any required release of liability waiver and/or media release within seven (7) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be chosen by random drawing. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the required release of liability waiver and/or media release within the required time period, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize. If a winner does not respond and accept the prize via email, an alternate will be chosen to take their place.
Prizes will be held at our Visit Pensacola Welcome Center. 1401 E. Gregory St., Pensacola, FL, 32502. or mail. If you are notified as a winner via the email address you provide for registration, you can opt for the prizes to be mailed to you provided you fill out a valid mailing address.

CONDITIONS

Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.
By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.

Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, Visit Pensacola in its sole discretion may require contest winners to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Visit Pensacola, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

The grand prize winner is responsible for any additional charges incurred during their visit, including but not limited to: food and beverage costs, additional ride tickets, parking, etc. Any charges resulting from damages or destruction of properties are also the sole responsibility of the grand prize winner.
The grand prize winner is responsible for any additional charges associated with travel including but not limited to: taxes, cab fare, hotel/airport parking fees, airport parking fees, car rental, gas fees, and gratuities.

Visit Pensacola reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of Visit Pensacola, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, Visit Pensacola reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize. This includes travel limitations due to weather or other act beyond Visit Pensacola’s control.

Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in an entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of Visit Pensacola.

Visit Pensacola is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

Visit Pensacola is not responsible for information technology glitches or other errors with the third party information technology systems used to administrate the program.
