Climb aboard a Winterfest trolley and Glinda the Good Witch will lead you on encounters with some of the most famous spell-casters in history. Youll learn a charm to protect yourself from their dark magic, release a helpless victim from a terrible curse, and pick up some candy along the way, thanks to actors from First City Shakespeare. * This tour is a little bit spooky and a whole lot of fun for the family, with singing, interactive visits with the witches, and goodies for everyone.* The rides last 90 minutes, beginning and ending at the foot of the Pensacola Bay Bridge in Wayside Park
Admission: $5 for children 10 and younger, $25 for adults.

The Great Pumpkin Race
5K race will begin at 8 a.m. and the 1-mile fun run will beginning at 9 a.m.
The popular 5K race, which begins at 12th Avenue and Moreno Street and winds through scenic and historic East Hill, is sanctioned by the Pensacola Runner's Association and attracts close to 1,200 participants each year

Against The Odds: The Art of The Highwaymen | Foo Foo Event

The Florida Highwaymen, a group of 26 African-Americans, broke convention to paint beautiful iconic landscapes. Originating in the mid 1950?s, an era marked by racism and poverty, these self-taught entrepreneurs mentored each other while they painted on basic materials like Upson board for canvasses, and crown molding for frames. This event is FREE to visitors.

Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival | Foo Foo Event
Festival hours are Friday & Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The three-day, juried art show draws more than 200 of the nations best painters, potters, sculptors, jewelers, graphic artists, craftsmen and other artists. The event features live musicians in Fountain Park with sounds ranging from Zydeco, bluegrass, jazz and blues to classical. Local dance schools and groups perform daily. The Children's Arts Festival is next door in Bartram Park, featuring numerous hands-on artistic opportunities provided free of charge. The Childrens Festival is open Friday for children with special needs from selected schools and is open to everyone on Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

It is quirky and conveys great depth to singular characters. You will laugh and laugh! A strong cast accents this delightful play. Cloris Leachman played "Annie" with its first-ever production.

10th Annual Pensacola Marathon | Foo Foo Event
6:30 a.m.
The race begins and ends at Veteran's Memorial Park on the bayfront then winds its way along a 13.1 mile circuit of the city for the half marathoners and a full 26.2 loop for the full marathon. The course features running through historic neighborhoods, the downtown district, bands, and cheering Pensacolians. The finish line is next to the only replica of the National Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, D.C. The Pensacola Marathon is also a Boston Qualifier for you still needing to qualify.

Japanese Film Festival is a two-day celebration of Japanese cinema, which will include a variety of classic and contemporary films and anime. In addition to the movies, visitors will be exposed to Japanese cuisine and cultural demonstrations, while children can participate in games and activities in observance of Shichi-Go-San on November 15. | The film festivals Friday, Nov. 14 (6 p.m. midnight) showings include Why Dont You Play in Hell, and Love Hotel; the Saturday, Nov. 15 (10 a.m. 6 p.m.) showings include A Letter to Momo, Wolf Children, and Uzumasa Limelight. Along with movies the festival will mix cutting-edge cinema with thoughtful film analysis, and Saturday will include fun for the whole family. Cox Pensacola Christmas Parade
5:15 p.m.
The Christmas Parade includes local bands from every high school in Escambia County, groups from around the region, and as far away as Houston and New Orleans. The Cox Pensacola Christmas Parade profits go to local high school band booster organizations to assist in the purchasing of uniforms and equipment and funding of travel expenses. Preceding the parade is the popular 1.2 miles Christmas Parade Dash, sponsored by the Pensacola Runners Association. With nearly 400 participants each year, the Dash uses the Cox Pensacola Christmas parade route just prior to the start of the parade. The race begins at 5:00 pm and is a maze through the downtown area lined with thousands of people cheering. The course ends at Plaza Ferdinand where a large candy cane is handed to each finisher. Sertoma's Independence Day Celebration

For the 26th year, area Sertoma organizations are once again coordinating and hosting the largest Fireworks display on the Gulf Coast over Pensacola Bay. There will be activities throughout the day, from 11:00 am until 6:30 pm, in Seville Square to include a FREE Childrens Area with inflatables and pony rides, Arts and Crafts vendors, Food vendors, and live entertainment on the gazebo stage beginning at 11:00 am, with a Hot Dog Eating Contest at noon! Starting at 4:00, there will be live music on the Bayfront Stage, featuring regional bands. The festivities will culminate with the fireworks show over Pensacola Bay, synchronized with music broadcast on Cat Country FM 98.7.
