The art is an eclectic collection of paintings and sculpture collected by Ms. Baroco. Art in the collection runs the gamut from a Greek Icon to an African mask of beads and cowrie shells from the Kuba tribe of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Outsider Art of Toby Hollinghead, a whimsical driftwood sculpture by Chris Cumbie and works of art by well-known local artists will also be included in the exhibit. Of the 45 works on display, more than half are of various other mediums from well-known local artists.

The race begins and ends at Veteran's Memorial Park on the bayfront then winds its way along a 13.1 mile circuit of the city for the half marathoners and a full 26.2 loop for the full marathon. Cox Pensacola Christmas Parade

The Christmas Parade includes local bands from every high school in Escambia County, groups from around the region, and as far away as Houston and New Orleans. The Cox Pensacola Christmas Parade profits go to local high school band booster organizations to assist in the purchasing of uniforms and equipment and funding of travel expenses. Preceding the parade is the popular 1.2 miles Christmas Parade Dash, sponsored by the Pensacola Runners Association. With nearly 400 participants each year, the Dash uses the Cox Pensacola Christmas parade route just prior to the start of the parade. The race begins at 5:00 pm and is a maze through the downtown area lined with thousands of people cheering. The course ends at Plaza Ferdinand where a large candy cane is handed to each finisher. Celebrate spring with a visit to the University of West Florida campus during the 15th Annual Festival on the Green. Come be a part of Pensacola's rich history and diverse culture by experiencing a fine arts show, hand-made crafts, music, live performances, a book sale, food and Saturday's children's craft festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Celebrate the Arts is a juried, fine arts and crafts festival that brings quality national, regional and local artists to Gulf Breeze, Florida. It is a two-day family event free to the public with over 150 artists. Proceeds from the festival provide student art scholarships and donations to local school art programs.
For the 26th year, area Sertoma organizations are once again coordinating and hosting the largest Fireworks display on the Gulf Coast over Pensacola Bay. There will be activities throughout the day, from 11:00 am until 6:30 pm, in Seville Square to include a FREE Childrens Area with inflatables and pony rides, Arts and Crafts vendors, Food vendors, and live entertainment on the gazebo stage beginning at 11:00 am, with a Hot Dog Eating Contest at noon! Starting at 4:00, there will be live music on the Bayfront Stage, featuring regional bands. The festivities will culminate with the fireworks show over Pensacola Bay, synchronized with music broadcast on Cat Country FM 98.7.
