Longer days, warm sun rays, new flowers - the signs of spring are here. With these beautiful and bright sunny days, we have the urge to be outside. Join us for this month's adventures:

| Fun on the Fly |
Refreshing temperatures, sunshine and plenty of "fun on the fly" with Captain Baz Yelverton of Gulf Breeze Guide Service get anglers all worked up in early spring. Whether going for the monster bull redfish, exciting catches such as false albacore, jack crevalle, bluefish and ladyfish, or perhaps hooking a tasty dinner for a local chef to prepare for your group that evening, you are bound to have a splashing good time.
Captain Baz is also our local expert in going after the elusive tarpon with a fly rod. So cast away on Pensacola's sparkling waters and get "hooked."

| Full Moon Walk |
Enjoy a total lunar eclipse at the stellar location of the Gulf Islands National Seashore Saturday, March 3. The Full Moon Walk begins at 5:30 p.m. from the gate to the Fort Pickens. Visitors should be prepared to walk about half a mile down the closed roadway and out to the beach. Bring a blanket or towel for seating and a flashlight.
"Saturday's eclipse is unique in that it is partly visible from every continent around the world. It's a perfect time to go exploring," said Superintendent Jerry Eubanks. "Our only natural satellite of Earth will be enveloped completely in the planet's shadow. This ordinary night will be turned into something special!"
| Plaza de Luna |
The new Plaza de Luna downtown features a promenade with benches, historic post-mounted street lights, beautiful lawns, onsite parking with drive around and approximately 1,800 linear feet of waterfront.
The two-plus acre park is ideal for family gatherings, picnics along the waterfront, fishing or sunset strolls. Named after Don Tristan de Luna, the Spanish explorer who established Pensacola in 1559, the park is also the venue for upcoming events such as the Pensacola Wine Festival in April. A terrace feature in the south-west corner provides ideal venue for small gatherings and a grand view of sunsets over Pensacola Bay.
| What's New in Pensacola |
A new waterfront banquet facility, Cabana Club, caters to parties from 40-300 people.
