Roberta Ramsey Joins the CVB
The Pensacola Bay Area CVB is pleased to announce the addition of Roberta Ramsey, the new corporate and convention sales manager. Roberta comes to us with a 20-year career in sales, including holding the corporate sales manager position at the Plaza Hotel in Jackson, Miss. We want to introduce Roberta to our tourism partners on February 13 from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. at the Visitor Information Center. We hope you will join us for breakfast and a roundtable with Roberta.

Pensacola Recognized By TripAdvisor®
TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel community, recently named Pensacola among the "Best Family Friendly Vacations" in the United States and Canada. Florida led the list with 13 cities represented, followed by Hawaii with five. The Gulf of Mexico beach, ZOO Northwest Florida, Sam’s Fun City, Historic Pensacola Village, the Pensacola Historical Museum, Seville Square and the two Civil War forts all attributed to making Pensacola a top TripAdvisor® family-friendly destination.

The Florida Motorcoach Association has selected the Pensacola Bay Area for its annual conference September 14-17. More than 150 tour operators, destination marketing organizations, hotels, restaurants and attractions from throughout the United States will be visiting our city. This is an amazing opportunity for us to showcase our unique offerings to such a prominent group that will generate future business for our area.

King Of Spain Visits Pensacola
We expect outstanding media coverage of King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofía when they visit Pensacola on Feb. 18-19. Thanks to all of our lodging partners for submitting your special rates for travelers that week. We also appreciate our restaurant partners who are participating in Restaurant Week. Participants are Angus, Fish House, Global Grill, H20, Jackson's, Skopelos and Will Call. The Hospitality Roundtable will be held Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 11:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Davis Highway. Shelley Ragsdale and Dick Appleyard will discuss upcoming Naval Aviation Museum events. The cost of the luncheon is $12 for HRT members, $20 for non-members. Payment should be made at the door with checks made payable to Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. No invoicing will be permitted. Since we must guarantee reservations, if you RSVP and do not attend, you will be billed for the cost of your lunch.
