Governor's Conference on Tourism

This month, Patti will be attending the Tallahassee Society of Association Executives (TSAE) Meeting Planners Roundtable. The intimate group of 25 to 30 meeting planners and association management groups is a great opportunity for Patti to meet decision makers one-on-one. Patti will also be attending the Chuck Cook Tradeshow in Tallahassee August 14 and 15. If you’re interested in attending or sending along information about your business, please e-mail Patti at pmohan@VisitPensacola.com.

This month, Lori will be attending the Florida Motorcoach Association (FMA) Appointment Show. Lori will promote the Pensacola Bay Area to tour and charter motorcoach companies who are members of the state-wide association. Lori is also working on negotiations to bring the 2009 conference to the Pensacola Bay Area, which would attract more than 40 tour and travel professionals.

Meetings to Note

HRT Notice

The next Hospitality Roundtable Luncheon will be held Tuesday, July 15 at 11:30 a.m. at Varona’s, 5121 N. 12th Avenue. The cost of the luncheon is $12 for HRT members, $20 for non-members. Payment should be made at the door with checks made payable to Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. No invoicing will be permitted. Mike Frey of the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce will discuss the new Downtown Technology Park. Since we must guarantee reservations, if you RSVP and do not attend, you will be billed for the cost of your lunch. Please RSVP by e-mailing Barbara at bwilliams@visitpensacola.com or by calling 434-1234 by 3 p.m. on July 11.
