King Of Spain Visit A Success
To date, more than 400 clips have been generated in the media about Pensacola’s 450th anniversary. Articles were published in California, Massachusetts, South Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, New Mexico, Alabama, and internationally in England and Spain as well as such media outlets as Fox News and USA Today. The coverage, worth millions, helped attract visitors from across the country to our area for the event. During the month of the royal visit, we experienced more traffic on our Web site and 500 more tourists to our Visitor Information Center than February of 2008.
