Sales Updates
Group Sales Lori recently attended the BankTravel Conference in Little Rock where she met with more than 50 bank loyalty program directors. BankTravel serves 3,000 banks and financial institutions nationwide. The annual conference provides opportunities for program directors to meet with travel companies, destinations and suppliers. She’ll be forwarding more information to partners this week. Hot off the Press King Of Spain Visit A Success Travel Writer Visit A journalist with a north Alabama lifestyle magazine will be visiting the Pensacola Bay Area March 10-12. The article will be published later this month. Survey We hope you all benefited from the royal visit during Mardi Gras week. Meetings to Note
HRT Notice The Hospitality Roundtable will be held Tuesday, March 17 at 11:30 a.m. at the Pensacola Civic Center. A representative from the City of Pensacola’s Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will discuss downtown events. The cost of the luncheon is $12 for HRT members, $20 for non-members. Payment should be made at the door with checks made payable to Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. No invoicing will be permitted. Since we must guarantee reservations, if you RSVP and do not attend, you will be billed for the cost of your lunch. Please RSVP by e-mailing Barbara Williams or by calling 434-1234 by 3 p.m. on March 13. Tourism Administration and Convention Committee (TACC) MeetingAll partners are welcome to attend the upcoming TACC meeting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18 at City Hall. Tourism issues are discussed bi-monthly with tourism industry stakeholders and public officials. |
