Congratulations to our photo contest winners, and thank you to all of our visitors and residents for your participation. The first contest was a huge success, with more than 200 photos from 88 participants. Submissions came from 16 states and Canada. We also had more than 1,400 individual votes. Any of the photos submitted are eligible to be used on our Web site, on our blog, in print ads or in marketing collateral. In addition, Celebrate Pensacola will be selecting 12 photos to be used in the 450th anniversary commemorative calendar next year. Stay tuned for an announcement. We also want to thank our wonderful tourism partners for the great prizes, including weekend stays at Portofino Island Resort & Spa and Suburban Extended Stay Hotels, tickets to the ZOO Northwest Florida, Farmers’ Opry, the National Naval Aviation Museum IMAX ® Theatre and Historic Pensacola Village, candy and nuts from J.W.
