November 2008 We are currently selling ads for next year’s Visitor Guide, but time is running out. Next year, 150,000 guides will be distributed to visitors by request, at consumer and trade shows, welcome centers, military bases, the Pensacola Gulf Coast Regional Airport and travel agencies around the country.
December 2008 The CVB staff is collecting non-perishable food items for Manna Food Bank. In lieu of holiday treats, we encourage you to donate items. Thanks for helping us spread Christmas cheer.

January 2009 The 2009-2010 Visitor Guide is out! We would like to thank all of our advertisers for making the publication of the guide possible.
February 2009 The Pensacola Bay Area CVB is pleased to announce the addition of Roberta Ramsey, the new corporate and convention sales manager.
March 2009 To date, more than 400 clips have benn generated in the media about Pensacola's 450th anniversary. Articles were published in California, Massachusettes, South Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, New Mexico, Alabama, and internationally in England and Spain as well as such media outlets as Fox News and USA Today.
April 2009 The royal visit had a great impact on our area. 33% of you who responded to last month's survey said they say an increase in business during the week of the royal visit.
   
July 2009 The Visit Pensacola blog is becoming more popular with around 100 visits on an average day. We would love to feature our partners as expert bloggers to share your knowledge and experience with our visitors whether it be about diving, fishing, cooking, the arts, or just tips for enjoying the beach.
September 2009 The CVB’s summer intern conducted more than 500 interviews this summer at Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key and the Pensacola Gulf Coast Regional Airport to learn more about where visitors are coming from, who they travel with, and how long they stay.
