Now that you’ve given Mom her dream beach vacation for the holiday you might need some activities while visiting. Below you’ll find locally featured events focused around Mother’s Day in the Pensacola Bay Area.

Girls’ Day Away!

On Saturday, May 13, Margaritaville Beach Hotel is offering a FREE “Girls’ Day Away!” event. Mom’s get ready for a little pampering. Local boutiques will be on-site for shopping and Fusion Salon will be offering makeup, hair and massage treatments. The Frank & Lola Love Pensacola Café will be offering great food and drink specials during the event. Don’t worry, if you get too relaxed, I’m sure they can find you a room upstairs!

Baby of Mine-Paint with MOM

Get ready for things to get a little messy. Painting-with-a-Twist is offering a Mother’s Day themed painting class for you and your child! Help each other explore your creative side as the two of you paint a puzzle piece with a featured Baby of Mine canvas. The course is recommended for children ages eight and up.

Mother’s Day Brunch

Brunch isn’t just a meal it’s a lifestyle. Spoil mom with one of the several featured brunches offered around town. The Fish House is offering its regular bottomless champagne and mimosas for $5 and bloody marys for $2. In addition, Chef de Cuisine Jason Hughes has created a special Mother’s Day feature of the day. Around the corner, Jackson’s Steakhouse will be offering a Mother’s Day special and complimentary champagne for moms during brunch and dinner service. If you’re looking for a place with options, check out Skopelo’s at New World Inn. Pulling inspiration from the Greek Island Skopelos, Celebrity Chef Gus Silivos has been in the kitchen since the age of 11. On Mother’s Day, the restaurant will offer a special brunch buffet featuring Chef-attended stations. If you’re looking to be served directly, in the main dining rooms and courtyard you will find an a la carte menu and Chef Silivos’s famous grits bar. Brunch service runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you’re out on the beach side, check out the Hilton at Pensacola Beach. Celebrity Chef Dan Dunn always prepares a menu fit for a queen. I would suggest making reservations as this is a popular destination and seats will go fast!
