Aloha Paddle Company, based in Gulf Breeze, has a regular schedule of Sunday afternoon and Tuesday evening Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Yoga classes. Beginners at yoga and/or paddleboarding are welcome. Get Creative

Feeling creative? Book a painting session at Painting with a Twist. Located in East Pensacola, Painting with a Twist offers a full calendar of group painting classes, and private parties can be arranged for a large group. For about $35-45 per person, you will enjoy learning step-by-step how to create your very own masterpiece. It is perfect for a girls’ night out and you’ll leave with an instant souvenir. For adult classes, pack wine (or your beverage of choice) and a few snacks. Aprons are provided while you paint.

 

Brew-Thru Fun

Gary’s Brewery & Biergarten, located on the west side of Pensacola, hosts a slew of events, from weekly corn hole games to trivia and bingo, at its microbrewery and taproom. Serving 18 beers and ciders brewed on-premise and around the world, Gary’s frequently welcomes food trucks the establishment to the delight of hungry beer-drinkers. Furry friends are welcome in the beer garden, part of the spacious 2.5-acre property. A monthly yoga class takes place at Gary’s, too, so you can follow up all those sun salutations and downward dogs with a homemade brew or glass of wine. If bowling or playing darts just won’t cut it for your group of friends, the newly opened Grizzly Axes has brought one of the nation’s most popular leisure trends to Pensacola - axe throwing. Yes, axe throwing. This involves competing with your friends to throw an axe at a target. Roll up your sleeves and get ready to toss an axe! Featuring 12 throwing zones and 24 targets, the brand new facility is centrally located on Davis Highway. Birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate teams and leagues are all welcome at Grizzly Axes.

 

Make a Good Time

A different kind of cutting takes place at Maker’s Loft. Located in Northwest Pensacola, just south of I-10, Maker’s Loft welcomes crafters of all experience levels with a jam-packed event calendar, as well as open studio time and kids’ programs. Classes include stained glass making, crocheting, sewing, beading, glass shard art, wreath making and much more. Prices vary by activity and supplies are included. Learn a new skill with your friends and, if you are hungry, bring your own grub.

 

Hit the Greens

In North Pensacola, follow up a round of golf at Scenic Hills Country Club, which is open to the public, with lunch or dinner at Sammy Barker’s American Street Food. Special promotions like Taco Tuesday, bingo and trivia nights are sure to please any crowd.
