Where are my ladies? It’s wine o’clock somewhere!

After a long week, (and let’s face it, sometimes even mid-week if I’m having a particularly bad one,) I love getting together with my girlfriends to go out and let off some steam.

Whether you’re looking for a wild “get up and dance” night on the town or more of a low-key, sit, sip and gossip with the girls vibe — Pensacola’s got your Ladies Night covered.

Here are five of my favorites and why:

The Deck Bar at Pensacola Fish House

My ladies night comfort zone is The Fish House. The girls and I like to unwind with a glass of wine on the Deck Bar and watch the sun melt into the bay while listening to live music and catching up on the latest gossip. The relaxed vibe, paired with a fantastic view and drink specials, is hard to compete. Wednesday night is the designated ladies night which boasts $2 drinks!

McGuire's Irish Pub

A traditional Irish restaurant that offers some of the best laughter and live sing-along music is McGuire’s Irish Pub. Thursdays are designated ladies nights – with $2 house wine, well drinks and home-brewed ales for the ladies starting at 10 p.m. My girlfriends and I love ordering different martinis to taste and share. McGuire’s has a robust martini menu that ranges from a James Bond to a Tiramisu martini to even a Key Lime Pie. Rich in flavor and perfect for your taste buds.

Seville Quarter

If you and your girls have your dancing shoes on, Seville Quarter is a must stop. This unique gem of an establishment has seven themed rooms including a dance club, pool hall, dueling piano room and many bar options. Seville has been a prominent establishment since 1967 and is notorious for being a hot-stop for ladies to celebrate in style. Dance your cares away in the two-story nightclub, Phineas Phoggs. Then wind down and end the night at Rosie O’Grady’s where you and the gals can belt some of your favorite lyrics while singing along with the talented dual piano players. Request songs to be played and on special occasions (weddings, birthdays, etc.) you can even get your girls onstage to participate in the show. Wednesdays through Saturdays beginning at 8 p.m.

Flora-Bama

Up for a ladies night that you’ll never forget? Then a visit to the infamous Flora-Bama is a must. Located on the Florida and Alabama state line overlooking the sugar-white beaches of Perdido Key, the Flora-Bama is a perfect spot for a beachy ladies get together. Here you can let loose and take in live music, sit back and watch some lighthearted debauchery and raise your glass to a great night — all while keeping your toes in the sand. The official ladies night is on Wednesday nights with the first drink free.

The Wine Bar

The Wine Bar is a staple for our ladies night destinations. Why? One word: wine. Lots and lots of wine, with knowledgeable bartenders to guide you in the right direction. The view overlooking Palafox Street, the heart of Downtown Pensacola, is a perfect people-watching setting as well. On our ladies nights, we typically split a premier or grand charcuterie cheese board and gather for drink specials before the dinner crowd rush. As the wine continues to flow, the clinks of our glasses do too. It’s the perfect way to catch up with the girls.
