Angelena’s Ristorante Italiano is pleased to announce Chef James Briscione and Wine Director, Brooke Parkhurst will be leading “Behind the Scenes”, a series of culinary classes on the second Thursday, every other month, beginning September 10, 2020. Classes will cover everything from shopping to preparation to presentation. The class begins promptly at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 7:00 p.m. The class costs $65, plus tax and gratuity, per person which covers the cooking demonstration, tastings of the recipes, wine pairings, and a take-home recipe booklet so you can try the recipes in the comfort of your own home. As we will be continuing to observe health guidelines, social distancing and limited seating, reservations are required. Food Network Favorites: Thursday, September 10

Angelena’s kitchen is helmed by Chef James, a two-time Food Network’s “Chopped” champion,

appearing on the first season where he walked away the winner. He returned to “Chopped” in Fall 2010 to compete in the champions tournament. Since, Chef James continues to contribute to Food Network’s programming. This class will focus on a number of Chef James’ hit recipes as featured on Food Network and the new Food Network “Kitchen” app as well as Chef James and Brooke’s favorite personal go-to recipes that can be made any night of the week.

 

Flavor For All: Thursday, November 12

This class will feature Chef James and Brooke’s newest cookbook, “Flavor for All.” The cookbook, which will be released this October, is filled with simple, deeply delicious recipes—informed by the science of flavor pairing but accessible enough for everyday meals. Chef James will whip up highlighted recipes from the publication. Additionally, Chef James and Brooke will share with the class their experiences of the process of cookbook publication from pitch, to recipe development, photography and production. Advanced copies of “Flavor for All” will be on hand for purchase with a signing at the conclusion of the class.
