An Evening Under The Stars
Big Lagoon State Park along with the Escambia Amateur Astronomer Association, invites you to spend an evening gazing at the skies!
Clear skies permitting, telescopes and binoculars will be set up to capture views of the moon, planets and other celestial objects. All participants must enter the park prior to sunset. The front gates will be locked at that time.
Contact the ranger station at 850-492-1595 ahead of time to find out when the gates will be locked. Event dates: Nov. 4 & 18; Dec. 2 & 16; Jan. 6 & 20; Feb. 3 & 17; March 2 & 16.
