Bird Walk to Big Sabine
Bring all your shorebird questions because Brian Cammarano, Audubon Florida’s Shorebird Stewardship Coordinator, will be leading us on this beautiful walk.
We will have a strenuous walk through the sand for about 1 mile before reaching Big Sabine Point.
Here, we hope to see many shorebirds and maybe a Reddish Egret!
The walk is about 2 miles round trip through loose sand and there is only one uncovered bench about a quarter of a mile into the walk.
We will park at the east end of the Park East parking lot. There is a bathroom/boardwalk at this location.
Free Registration is required details at event website.
All participants 18 years or older must register.
The event is free, however, donations to FMW Audubon are accepted.
