Blake Doyle Skatepark Opening Day

Opening Day is a time to come together as a community and celebrate the official opening of the long awaited Blake Doyle Skate Park.

Several generations of skaters have worked tirelessly to bring this skatepark dream to fruition with the support of the city of Pensacola and the mayor's office. The skatepark's location connects the city's east and west sides, areas that have been historically divided in more ways than one. We believe music, art, and skateboarding all have the ability to transcend what divides us, which is why we are bridging all of these integral aspects into the Opening Day celebration, showcasing the impactful representation of the connective power of skateboarding.

Event Details

The event is open to the community and will feature a pro demo from our partner New Balance Numeric, who will be bringing their core team riders including Andrew Reynolds and Jamie Foy, and AM best trick contests throughout the day hosted by local skate shops with cash and sponsor prizes. Opening Day will also feature live music and bands, local vendors, food trucks, brand sponsor booths and giveaways, as well as activations for families and kids in the adjacent Community Garden.
