United States Navy Band Commodores Jazz Ensemble
The premier jazz ensemble of the United States Navy offers big band jazz at its finest. The group features 19 of the Navy's top jazz and "big band" musicians: 5 saxophonists, 4 trombonists, 4 trumpeters, a 4-member rhythm section, a vocalist, and an audio technician. The Commodores perform a mixture of music ranging from the authentic sounds of the swing era to the high-energy big band jazz of today.
Tickets are free to the public and can be picked up at the Saenger Theatre box office beginning September 15. There is a maximum of 4 tickets per person allowed for this free concert
