What's Up is Down, and Down is Up!
No, it's not another season of Stranger Things with "the upside-down," but we are continuing work to modernize and expand our terminal.
Starting the week of August 14, 2023, the "up" escalator will be taken out of service and replaced. We will convert the current "down" escalator to carry passengers up to the 2nd floor, in addition to the option to use the stairs or elevators.
Don't miss this important update about the "steps" we are taking to make this transition easier for you.
TSA Pre-Check Pop-Up
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will be hosting a temporary TSA Pre-Check Enrollment Center at Pensacola International Airport, from September 18-22, 2023.
This is your chance to sign up for an important and convenient way to move more quickly through TSA Security Checkpoints for domestic flights.Click here to learn more.
Please remember, if you are picking up a passenger and they are not on the sidewalk when you pull up, you need to keep moving and circle back around. Waiting for passengers who are not actively unloading or loading will no longer be allowed.
Thank you for your attention to this.
Fly Easy
Despite school starting for local students, we still have travelers coming to visit the Gulf Coast, so we expect continued passenger traffic at PNS. With some of our ongoing upgrades and improvements, along with this busy summer season of travel, we still recommend you arrive two hours early for your flight.
To speed up your time through security, consider reviewing the list of allowed items in your carry-on bag. Our overflow parking lots will continue to open as needed, and there are taxi and rideshare services available as well, should you decide not to park at the Airport.
Finally, always be sure and check with your airline for any flight changes or updates, and keep up with us on our Facebook page to stay updated.
Thanks for choosing to Fly Easy with us!
