The New Visit Pensacola App is here!

The new and improved Visit Pensacola App is now here! Getting to Pensacola is easy, but leaving, that’s the hard part. Whether you’re in town on business or pleasure or one of the lucky locals, the Visit Pensacola App was built with you in mind. With geolocation features and an itinerary builder, finding what to do while in Pensacola is both fun, fast and easy!

Use the VP App to find restaurants, events, attractions, entertainment and more. Check out the instructions to launch the new app below and click here to learn more.

INSTALLING ON IOS
Open your Safari browser on your iOS device.
Go to the app website (https://app.visitpensacola.com).
Tap on the "Share" button at the screen's bottom. It looks like a square with an upward arrow.
Scroll down and look for the "Add to Home Screen" option and tap on it.
Rename the app if desired, and then tap on "Add" located in the top right corner of the screen.
Once the app is installed, you can open it by tapping on the icon on your home screen.
If prompted, allow the app to access your location to provide information about nearby attractions and events.

Open your Chrome browser on your Android device.
Go to the app website (https://app.visitpensacola.com).
Tap on the menu button (usually represented by three dots) in the top right corner of the screen.
Look for the "Add to Home Screen" option and tap on it.
Rename the app if desired, and then tap on "Add" located in the top right corner of the screen.
Once the app is installed, you can open it by tapping on the icon on your home screen.
If prompted, allow the app to access your location to provide information about nearby attractions and events.

These adventure seekers had a blast at the America's First Settlement Trail Urban Adventure! 🧭 Participants had three hours to complete a game that explored the America’s First Settlement Trail, solve puzzles, and test out their knowledge of Pensacola’s history 📜 Congratulations to the winners!

Florida Public Relation Association's Annual Conference/ Golden Image Awards

Visit Pensacola's VP of Destination Development, Nicole Stacey, and Marketing & Communications Manager, Lindsey Steck, attended the FPRA Annual Conference held annually in Orlando, Florida. This conference is focused on professional development as well as a 360° of Public Relations.

Visit Pensacola was honored with an award of distinction and a judges' award for its work on the America's First Settlement Trail at the Florida Public Relation Association's Golden Image Awards. Thank you to the Florida Public Relations Association for this incredible distinction.

Adventure Cities Filming

Adventure Cities is a fun and fast paced adventure travel show hosted by award-winning travel journalist, Jonathan Thompson. The series follows Jonathan on his travels as he searches for adventure and reveals the wonderful cultures, allures and attractions of the world’s most fascinating urban centers.

Nicole Stacey joined in on filming all things Pensacola at Five Flags Speedway, the Flora-Bama, the Pensacola Lighthouse, lionfish diving, Glow Paddle, windsurfing, and Historic Village. Jonathan will also be flying with the Blue Angels in the near future as well. The series showcasing Pensacola will be premiering December 2023 on Discovery Channel, so keep your eyes peeled!

U.S. Travel Association's Educational Seminar for Tourism Organizations

Visit Pensacola's President + CEO, Darien Schaefer, and VP of Destination Development, Nicole Stacey, attended the U.S. Travel Association's Education Seminar for Tourism Organizations in Savannah, Georgia. ESTO (Educational Seminar for Tourism Organizations) is the premier yearly event for destination marketing experts, offering four days of interactive learning and industry-driven content.

Darien and Nicole were able to gain exclusive insights, network, and engage in discussions on emerging marketing trends, innovation, and crucial destination-related issues.

Connect Marketplace

Visit Pensacola's Director of Sales & Services, Kaya Man, and Destination Sales Manager, Tia Robbins, traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota for the Connect Marketplace. Kaya and Tia had the opportunity to meet one-on-one with key decision makers, learn from industry experts, network with like-minded peers, and discover smart event solutions on the trade show floor.
