Airport Updates

February has been a busy month here at PNS, and we have more exciting things coming up in March.

From renaming our airport for Pensacon and refurbishing our escalators, to getting ready for the Sunbelt Conference Basketball Tournament, we have been hard at work to make sure you can Fly Easy.

In addition, with the Spring travel season just around the corner, we will be hearing from airlines soon about more direct seasonal flights to and from PNS.

Pensacola Intergalactic Airport

As part of our long-standing partnership with Pensacon, this month we were joined by Mayor D.C. Reeves and some guests from galaxies far, far away to rename the airport Pensacola Intergalactic Airport.This proclamation renames the airport through the month of February, where you'll find Pensacon-themed decorations, signage and art around the airport.Now in its tenth year, Pensacon is the Gulf Coast's largest pop-culture and science-fiction convention. Since its inception in 2014, Pensacon has generated over $25 million in economic impact, with 2023 poised to be the largest event yet.
