The grant deadline is June 4, at 12 p.m. and applications must be submitted electronically. Grant workshops will be hosted at the dates and times below in the Bowden Building at 120 Church Street. All grant applicants are required to attend one of the workshops.

We're thrilled to announce that Jimmy’s Taste of Florida made its debut on ITV in the UK on February 12th! Jimmy's adventure in Pensacola included savoring Union Public House's famous boiled peanuts (a specialty that intrigued our UK audience) and indulging in the delightful Jazz Brunch and fried chicken at Five Sisters Blues Café.
We're excited to announce that the 2nd America's First Settlement (A1S) Trail Urban Adventure is slated to take place on March 23, 2024!
Facilitated through Gogames, registrants and groups will be given a tiered start time and three hours to complete a game that explores the America's First Settlement Trail, solves puzzles, and tests knowledge of Pensacola's history. Tickets are $10 for individual registration or $25 for corporate teams of up to 10 people.
The top individual winner will receive a $250 cash prize and the top team will receive a $500 tab at a bar or restaurant along the trail in downtown Pensacola.
Florida Huddle
Vice President of Destination Development Nicole Stacey, Director of Sales & Services Kaya Man, and Destination Sales Manager Tia Robbins traveled to Miami for VISIT FLORIDA's Florida Huddle travel trade show. This event is Florida's premier trade show for tour operators and wholesalers.
IMM UK
Vice President of Destination Development Nicole Stacey traveled to the UK for TravMedia's International Media Market in February. There were networking events to connect travel and tourism professionals with top journalists, editors, and broadcasters. Over the span of 2 days, Nicole met with more than 30 different people. Great job showing the UK The Way to Beach™!
Outdoor Adventure Show — Toronto
Marketing & Communications Manager Lindsey Jackson traveled to Toronto for the Outdoor Adventure Show. Canada is one of our largest international markets and Lindsey was able to work with the Northwest Florida Beaches Coalition and meet with 365 people along with 1,000+ ticket holders to showcase Pensacola.
Quarterly Marketing Update
At our quarterly marketing meeting, we were able to update Visit Pensacola partners and stakeholders on our marketing efforts for the upcoming year. We kicked off the meeting with Downs & St. Germain Research presenting on travel data and current tourism trends. Showcase Pensacola presented on future advertising campaigns, print pieces, and broadcast buys, and the Visit Pensacola staff was able to share their internal marketing strategy. Thank you to everyone who was in attendance!
Destinations International: Marketing & Communications Summit
Vice President of Destination Development Nicole Stacey and Marketing and Communications Manager Lindsey Jackson traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah, for the Destinations International Marketing and Communications Summit. The summit is the gathering place of marketing, communications, and public relations professionals who help destination organizations thrive. Great job ladies!
Baton Rouge Lifestyle/TV Segment
Visit Pensacola President and CEO Darien Schaefer traveled west to Louisiana to take part in filming for a Baton Rouge TV segment. He did interviews on WBRZ to showcase Pensacola - The Way to Beach™. Great job!
FPL Economic Symposium
Visit Pensacola President and CEO Darien Schaefer along with Vice President of Destination Development Nicole Stacey traveled to Sandestin for the FPL Northwest Florida Economic Symposium. Joined by other leaders in the Panhandle, they were able to hear from different speakers in order to move Northwest Florida and our community and businesses forward to make a positive impact on our economy.
