Airport Updates
UPDATES & MORE FROM THE GATEWAY TO THE GULF COAST
It's been a busy few weeks at Pensacola International Airport, and the Gulf Coast will be an exciting place to be in the weeks to come.
The big news at PNS is that we have a brief break from the TSA equipment upgrades that have contributed to longer security wait times during this already busy time of year. With record numbers of passengers coming through PNS each day–enough to fill two Blue Wahoos Stadiums–this is welcome news.
In addition, we have some changes to our daily parking rates that will help pay for upcoming improvements at the Airport. You can read more about both of these updates below.
Finally, with the July 4th holiday just around the corner, that means Red, White, and Blues Week is coming soon! This year's festivities look to be bigger and better than ever, and we have all the details for you.
We are working hard to improve your experience at PNS, and we appreciate your understanding. Thank you for your support and patience during this busy travel season.

TSA Changes and Parking Updates
As you may know, the TSA scheduled several weeks of equipment upgrades during the spring and summer at the security checkpoint on the second floor.
These upgrades have contributed to the long security lines over the past few weeks. Thanks to outreach from Airport and City of Pensacola officials, the TSA has agreed to pause the next phase of those upgrades, to alleviate some of the delays at the security checkpoint.
In addition, the City of Pensacola passed a slight increase in the daily parking rates at PNS, to help fund future airport improvements. Read more about both of these developments on our website.
Red, White, and Blues Week!
