Pensacola welcomed more than 3,500 students for the SkillsUSA Florida State Championships April 7-10. Keeping to the association’s by-laws of changing destinations every three years, next year will end the event’s three-year period in Pensacola and the competition moves to Jacksonville. Hosting SkillsUSA generates approximately two-million dollars in revenue for our community. We hope to have the opportunity to bring the competition back to Pensacola, in 2024.
