IPW: Bringing the World to America

Lori with clients at IPW

U.S. Travel Association’s IPW is the leading international inbound travel trade show, driving $5.5 billion in future travel to the United States. It is a national showcase of America, where U.S. travel exhibitors connect with travel buyers and media from more than 70 countries to promote their product, negotiate future business and build relationships. IPW secures America’s position as a foremost global travel destination by increasing international visitation and showing the world the best of what the U.S. has to offer.

Visit Pensacola accompanied by Innisfree Hotels, attended IPW 2019. More than 40 appointments were held with international and domestic group and leisure travel trade professionals interested in booking business in the Pensacola Bay Area. The opportunity to meet with group planners in addition to tour operators was new at IPW this year and we look forward to booking future business from our appointments.

Pensacola Takes up Roots in New York City

Visit Pensacola Virtual Reality Experience in New York

Flora-Bama on Broadway Brings Pensacola to National Stage

To increase interest from the Nashville market, Visit Pensacola partnered with the Flora-Bama Lounge & Package to create the Flora-Bama on Broadway inside of Whiskey Bent Saloon during the 2019 CMA Fest. CMA Fest is a country music festival that attracts music lovers from across the country. Over four days, over 3,000 people came through the pop-up bar for the ultimate Pensacola Experience.

Digital ADA Compliance

Visit Pensacola is currently working to update both the corporate and consumer websites to be digitally ADA compliant. This is to ensure that information and content is available to all.  As partners of Visit Pensacola, the materials being uploaded to individual listings such as menus and photos will need to be ADA compliant. As we continue to move forward, Visit Pensacola will be scheduling a training to help partners with these new changes.
