Tempest Wins Visit Pensacola Website RFP 

Visit Pensacola’s website contract with Simpleview is set to expire in Feb. 2022. Following the RFP process and reviewing six separate website companies, the board of directors voted to approve Tempest as its next website provider. Over the next year, Tempest will work to design a new consumer facing website and will work hand in hand with Simpleview to ensure a smooth transition of all content and features.  

Visit Pensacola Attends Virtual Florida Huddle Meetings 

Familiarization tours are back on! Virtually that is. Visit Pensacola presented to over 35 international tour operators at Florida Huddle’s virtual meetings this past month. All are excited about visiting the area due to its wide-open beaches and close location to New Orleans. In the conversations, the operators expressed that holiday deals, history, music, and culinary were important.  

Visit Pensacola Ships the Pensacola Experience for PR Love 

With the ongoing covid-19 crisis paired with the Pensacola Bay Bridge construction, Visit Pensacola along with media have had difficulties traveling over the past year. Typically, Visit Pensacola hosts over 15 press trips per year to familiarize media with the area. With that coming to a halt, Visit Pensacola creatively shared its “Love of Travel” with 10 top media across the country. In the box were destination items that shared our area’s uniqueness.
