Lindsey traveled to our nation's capital to attend the Travel Media Meetup, where she connected with more than 30 media professionals to talk all about Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, and Perdido Key. Strategic networking opportunities like this allow us to elevate our destination and pitch compelling story ideas to national media outlets.
VISIT FLORIDA I‑10 Welcome Center Summer Showcase
Jennifer and Melissa represented Visit Pensacola at the VISIT FLORIDA I-10 Welcome Center Summer Showcase! Destination marketing organizations from across Northwest Florida came together to greet more than 1,500 travelers entering the state. The team was well-prepared to share Pensacola-branded materials and why Pensacola is The Way To Beach™.
U.S. Travel Association IPW Conference
Nicole and Kaya traveled to Chicago to represent Visit Pensacola at the U.S. Travel Association's IPW conference. As the leading international inbound travel trade show, IPW connects U.S. travel destinations and suppliers with global and domestic buyers and media from more than 60 countries. The team completed over 70 appointments, promoting Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, and Perdido Key as a premier destination for travelers.
Welcome: USSSA Pensacola Beach World Series Baseball Tournament
Visit Pensacola President and CEO, Darien Schaefer, had the opportunity to welcome the USSSA Pensacola Beach World Series Baseball Tournament to the Pensacola community at Blue Wahoos Stadium. The USSSA Baseball Southeast division registered 95 teams from eight states to compete in a four-day tournament at NEP Ball Park. Players, families, and supporters gathered at a Blue Wahoos game to officially kick off the event and celebrate the start of an exciting week of competition
Garden and Gun Seafood Rodeo
It’s always an honor to showcase the heart and soul of Pensacola — and there’s no better way than through our food. In partnership with Garden & Gun, Visit Pensacola hosted the fourth annual Seafood Rodeo, spotlighting our coastal flavors and world-class fishing culture.
Special thanks to Angelena’s for hosting this year’s event, and to Chefs Ian Gillette, Luis Nolasco, and Manny Rodriguez for curating a culinary experience that truly reflects the spirit of our destination. Your collaboration and enthusiasm continue to make this event unforgettable!
Military Reunion Network Summit
Tia traveled to Lubbock, Texas for this year’s Military Reunion Network Summit, an event dedicated to equipping Military Reunion Planners with the latest insights and tools for hosting meaningful gatherings. She was accompanied by Katie McPhail with Holiday Inn Resort Pensacola Beach. Tia presented to a room full of Military Reunion Planners and hosted 29 appointments to share why Pensacola is the Way to Meet for their next reunion.
