National Travel and Tourism Week Big Success, Here's What Happened

Visit Pensacola celebrated the 40th anniversary of National Travel and Tourism week with a fun-filled week of different events with industry peers, partners, and community members. The industry is seeing record growth and we are excited to Travel Forward.

Journey to Juneteenth

The City of Pensacola is highlighting a variety of events scheduled to celebrate Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States.

In addition to several city-sponsored events, many local businesses and organizations are hosting Juneteenth events to commemorate the holiday.

Tempest Conference

Lindsey and Shawn traveled to Mesa, Arizona for the Tempest Tourism Academy Conference. They explored the latest marketing trends and updates on Google Analytics 4, and discovered how our latest CRM integrations can empower our team, increase productivity and deliver results for our community.

Simpleview Summit

Elliott and Shawn traveled to Houston, Texas for the Simpleview Summit Conference. This is an annual conference for online tourism marketing and sales for destination marketing organizations.

Zartico Conference

Darien and Nicole attended the Zartico Conference in Tampa, Florida to learn about data literacy, link up with industry peers, and learn about top industry advertising agencies and partner destinations. They were able to take advantage of the hands on training and learn about the Zartico platform with digital data analytics to help better tell our story and to better hilight reports and dashboards to answer questions for our partners and stakeholders.

African American Travel Conference

Tia and Kaya attended the African American Travel Conference in Cleveland, Ohio. Here, they were among travel planners alike, talking all things Pensacola and they met with 50 African American travel planners.

IPW

Darien, Nicole, and Kaya attended US Travel Association's IPW in San Antonio, Texas, the nation's leading inbound travel and trade show. They hosted about 75 different media appointments over the course of three days. Connections between U.S. travel exhibitors, travel buyers, and media, were made while showcasing finest Pensacola.
