Darien, Nicole, and Kaya traveled to London for the inaugural VISIT FLORIDA UK & Ireland Huddle, connecting with top tour operators, travel agents, and media to share why Pensacola is The Way To Beach™. Additionally, the Northwest Florida Beaches Coalition was represented by Pensacola, Destin–Fort Walton Beach, and Panama City Beach, teaming up to showcase our 8-county region and promote Adventure Within Reach across Northwest Florida. Connecting with global travel partners ensures Pensacola remains top-of-mind for international visitors, creating lasting economic impact through tourism dollars that support local jobs, businesses, and growth in Escambia County.
Crowdriff Converge Conference
Visit Pensacola Digital Marketing Manager Shawn Brown was selected to attend the Crowdriff Converge Conference on Vancouver Island this October. It was a small but impactful gathering of destination marketing professionals. It was an inspiring few days of learning and collaboration—sharing ideas on how AI is shaping the future of DMOs, exploring best practices, and seeing how different destinations are using new tools and technology. He was also able to roll up his sleeves for hands-on hackathons and build creative AI-powered solutions together. Between good discussions, shared meals, and lovely West Coast views, it was a memorable time of connection and discovery. A big thank-you to the CrowdRiff team for hosting such an amazing experience!
PNS Groundbreaking Ceremony
We attended the groundbreaking for Pensacola International Airport's new and long-anticipated terminal. The expansion marks a major milestone in Escambia County's continued growth, improving capacity, efficiency, and traveler experience while supporting future economic development. The project will help meet rising passenger demand, attract new routes, and enhance Pensacola’s role as a key gateway to Northwest Florida. Congratulations to Pensacola International Airport for this pivotal moment in Pensacola's history!

Visit Pensacola team members Kaya Man and Tia Robbins had a great time representing Visit Pensacola at the 2025 Florida Society of Association Executives Education Expo in Tallahassee! They were able to get connected with amazing association planners interested in bringing their next meeting or training to Pensacola, The Way to Meet!

DEMA (Diving Equipment & Marketing Association Show)
Several members of the Visit Pensacola team (Darien, Kaya, Lindsey, and Jennifer) headed to Orlando for DEMA Show (The Diving Equipment & Marketing Association) with the Northwest Florida Beaches coalition to share all the incredible diving opportunities there are in Pensacola, and the Northwest Florida region. They were able to meet and network with experienced divers from all over the world! DEMA Show is the largest trade-only event in the world for diving, travel, and action water sport professionals. Great work, team!
EntreCon
The Visit Pensacola team members joined local leaders and entrepreneurs at EntreCon, Pensacola’s signature conference for business, innovation, and leadership development. It was a fantastic two days of learning and gaining new perspectives. Our Vice President of Destination Development, Nicole Stacey, was able to speak on a panel at EntreCon titled "Board’ing School: Finding Your Seat, Knowing Your Why, and Serving With Impact".

National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals
Destination Sales Manager, Tia Robbins, traveled to Portland for the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals 42nd Annual Conference. Tia represented Pensacola as the only Northwest Florida destination in the NCBMP community, showcasing why Pensacola should be next on their meeting and conference lineup. Great job representing, Tia!
