Visit Pensacola gears up to celebrate the 42nd Anniversary of National Travel & Tourism Week, highlighting travel's essential role in economic growth, job creation, and community diversity.
Hospitality Hero Nominations are also now open!
Visit Pensacola invites the community to nominate industry workers to be celebrated for their hard work and service throughout the year. Annually in May during National Travel and Tourism Week, Visit Pensacola recognizes the nominees and names the top winners.
Visit Pensacola is excited to give back to the Escambia County tourism industry with a $500 award to its Hospitality Hero winners.

Dallas Travel + Adventure Show
Visit Pensacola tema members Kaya Man, Tia Robbins, and Jennifer Saba traveled to Dallas for the Travel + Adventure Show. Travel & Adventure Shows are an excellent way for us to connect directly with consumers planning their upcoming vacations and adventures, sharing with them all the great things Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, and Perdido Key have to offer. Great job representing Pensacola, ladies!

Florida Tourism Day
Visit Pensacola President + CEO, Darien Schaefer, and Vice President of Destination Development, Nicole Stacey, headed to Tallahassee to celebrate Florida Tourism Day! They spent the day sharing the valuable role Visit Pensacola plays in the local economy with elected officials. They also had the opportunity to be a part of the Florida Tourism Expo event showcasing NWFL Beaches and the 8-county initiative to invite visitors to explore their adventurous side while also taking in our beautiful beaches along the Gulf. Great job pursuing the continued growth of tourism in Escambia County, Darien and Nicole!

Simpleview Summit
Visit Pensacola team members Hannah, Shawn, Nicole, and Jennifer attended Simpleview Summit to connect with destination marketing organization experts, learn new AI and customer relationship management tools, maximize brand messaging, and more. Shawn and Nicole were able to take part in a Simpleview interview, sharing their interest in the latest AI technologies, and the opportunity to streamline while remaining authentically Visit Pensacola. The team is enthusiastic about returning with valuable insights to support the ongoing growth of tourism in Escambia County!

Nashville Broadcast
Vice President of Destination Development brought two talented Pensacola chefs–Chef George Lazi of Pearl and Horn and Chef Alex McPhail of Restaurant Iron–to appear on Today in Nashville WSMV to showcase their culinary talents by preparing signature dishes from their restaurants. Additionally, Nicole had the opportunity to chat with host Carole Sullivan about all things Pensacola. Thank you for having us, WSMV!

NWFL 231 Welcome Center Grand Opening
Visit Pensacola, as part of the Northwest Florida Beaches Regional Council, attended the grand opening of VISIT FLORIDA's 231 Welcome Center in Jackson County! 🍊☀️ The welcome center highlights Northwest Florida Beaches many adventures and showcases all the outdoor splendor our region has to offer.

Houston & Dallas Broadcasts
Vice President of Destination Development, Nicole Stacey, traveled to Houston and Dallas to talk all things Pensacola on Great Day Houston, & Good Morning Texas.
