Vertical Oyster Garden Building
Our community came together to create Vertical Oyster Gardens that will help restore habitats, improve water quality, and support marine life in Pensacola. Huge thanks to Pensacola and Perdido Bays Estuary Program and FloridaCorps for making this hands-on day of service possible.
FPRA Marketing & Communications Summit
Nicole and Lindsey represented Visit Pensacola at the Florida Public Relations Association’s PR and Communications Summit in Orlando, where they connected with industry peers and took part in engaging sessions. The highlight? Bringing home an Award of Distinction at the Golden Image Awards for our Dive and Dine press trip series, hosted in June 2024. Great work, team!
SMART Meetings
At the Smart Meetings Incentive Experience in Nassau, Bahamas, Tia Robbins had the opportunity to highlight how our destination offers planners so much more than a beach backdrop. Speaking on a panel, she shared how Pensacola delivers the #WaytoMeet—from history and culture to sports, the arts, the National Naval Aviation Museum, and the Blue Angels. The sales team is working hard to represent Pensacola as a destination for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events) and planners are taking notice. Great work, Tia!
Showcasing the Pensacola Bay Area to Future Global Leaders
We had the pleasure of meeting a Brazilian delegation participating in the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) during their visit to Pensacola. We were pleased to share insights about the Pensacola Bay Area and highlight the unique offerings of our destination. While several had traveled to the United States before, this marked their first visit to Pensacola! The IVLP is the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program. Through short-term exchanges with interlocutors in the United States, current and emerging foreign leaders in a variety of fields develop lasting relationships with their American counterparts.
