Visit Pensacola gears up to celebrate the 42nd Anniversary of National Travel & Tourism Week, highlighting travel's essential role in economic growth, job creation, and community diversity.
Hospitality Hero Nominations are also now open!
Visit Pensacola invites the community to nominate industry workers to be celebrated for their hard work and service throughout the year. Annually in May during National Travel and Tourism Week, Visit Pensacola recognizes the nominees and names the top winners.
Visit Pensacola is excited to give back to the Escambia County tourism industry with a $500 award to its Hospitality Hero winners.

Visit Pensacola Mini Grants Now Available
Visit Pensacola’s event marketing mini grants are available for 2025. Annually, Visit Pensacola allocates funds from its budget to a grant program for local groups and organizations that coordinate events with a demonstrated history of visitor impact or the significant potential to draw visitors to the area. The maximum mini-grant request is $5,000. Mini-grant dollars are to be used 100% on the marketing of events creating awareness and bringing visitors from outside of Escambia County.

Visit Pensacola Marketing and Communications Manager Lindsey Jackson represented Pensacola at the Toronto Travel + Adventure Show. She was able to showcase the destination alongside the Northwest Florida Beaches Coalition. Great job, Lindsey!

Rendezvous South
Visit Pensacola team members Kaya and attended Rendezvous South by ConventionSouth Media Group hosted by Visit Panama City Beach where they were able to meet with over 30 meeting planners interested in bringing their meetings and events to Pensacola. The excitement and interest in our destination is incredible, and it’s clear that Pensacola is on the radar for many planners looking for truly unique places to host their groups. Great job representing, ladies!
Denver Travel + Adventure Show
Visit Pensacola team members Tia and Shawn represented Pensacola at the Denver Travel and Adventure Show. This is an annual event where travel enthusiasts can explore different destinations, meet travel experts, and discover deals on vacations, tours, and experiences. International Women’s Day Luncheon
Our Visit Pensacola ladies attended the Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce's annual International Women's Day Luncheon! Visit Pensacola's Vice President of Destination Development, Nicole, was invited to participate in the panel discussion titled "Accelerate Action: Defining Your Brand, Leading with Purpose, and Inspiring Change."It was a great morning connecting with other chamber and community members. Thank you, Perdido Key Chamber, for having us!

UWF Women in Leadership Conference
Some of the Visit Pensacola ladies were able to attend the UWF Women in Leadership Conference at UWF. They were able to network with others, hear from 2 panels on mentoring and non profit organizations, and hear from various keynote speakers. Attending the conference allows them to bring back skills and empowerment to apply to their roles here at Visit Pensacola. Great work representing, ladies!

New Orleans Broadcast
Visit Pensacola President & CEO Darien Schaefer traveled to New Orleans to appear on Great Day Louisiana! He spoke with host Malik Mingo about the many attractions Pensacola has to offer and The Way To Beach™. Louisiana is a key drive market for Pensacola, making this an excellent opportunity to showcase the Pensacola Bay Area to our Louisiana neighbors. Thanks for having us, WWL-TV!
