These include viewing by boat, Fort Pickens, a few spots downtown, Pensacola Lighthouse, and National Naval Aviation Museum. Are you craving some Cajun cuisine? Good news! Pensacola’s Crawfish Festival takes place from April 28th-30th—head down to Seville Square & Fountain Park to satisfy your hunger. There will be live music, crawfish fresh from Louisiana, and traditional festival food options as well. It’s a fun environment and a great way to get outside and enjoy your time in the Downtown area.
The mullet toss is one of the Gulf Coast’s most fantastic beach parties and events! This takes place at the Flora-Bama and is a weekend-long event. Folks travel from all areas to attend and participate. Essentially, individuals will throw a mullet from Florida across the state line into Alabama to see who can throw it the furthest distance. There are awards for different age groups and genders, so things get pretty serious around here. There are many happenings at the toss, from music to fun activities. The best part – the proceeds from every mullet tossed goes to Local Youth Charities. Every year there has been more than $40,000 raised!
