One of the many things that make a trip to the Gulf Coast area so memorable is the strong sense of tradition and the many unique events that are always taking place. Despite the fun new events added each year, there is an ongoing list of recurring traditions that the area holds dear to its heart and looks forward to annually. Once you throw your first fish at Mullet Toss or watch the Blue Angels zoom overhead from Casino Beach, we guarantee you’ll be hooked!

Pensacon, February 22-24, 2019 - Pensacola Comic Con is an all-inclusive event that encompasses many genres of the fan community. Expect Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror, Comics, Anime, Gaming and more. For three days each February, Wookiees, Daleks, Hogwarts students and Ghostbusters become a common site in our historic downtown, and even the airport gets in the act, upgrading from merely International to the Pensacola Intergalactic Airport.

Interstate Mullet Toss, April 26-28, 2019 - The Interstate Mullet Toss & Gulf Coast’s Greatest Beach Party takes over the Flora-Bama Lounge, Package and Oyster Bar in Perdido Key each spring.

Crawfish Festival, May 4-6 - Each spring the festival in Bartram Park adds a little spice to Pensacola’s southern style with more than 16,000 pounds of this Cajun staple plus a wide range of crawfish po'boys and crawfish pies.

Pensacola Beach Air Show, July 14 - U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron the Blue Angels will perform aerial acrobatics over the Gulf of Mexico during a weekend of high-flying fun. 

Pensacola Seafood Festival, September 28-30 - The annual Pensacola Seafood Festival takes over Seville Square, Fountain Park and waterfront Bartram Park in Historic Downtown Pensacola each fall, attracting more than 100,000 attendees.

FooFoo Festival, November 1-12 - The Foo Foo Festival is an eclectic mixture of art and cultural events ranging in tastes, with everything from Blue Angels air shows and songwriters' music festivals to ballet, opera, high art and even the Big Green Egg Cook-off.

Blue Angel Homecoming Air Show, November 2-3 - It's pure aviation excitement as the Blue Angels return home for the NAS Pensacola Homecoming Air Show.

Great Gulf Coast Arts Festival, November 2-4 - The three-day, juried art show draws more than 200 of the nation's best painters, potters, sculptors, jewelers, graphic artists, craftsmen and other artists. The event features live musicians in Fountain Park with sounds ranging from Zydeco, bluegrass, jazz and blues to classical.

Fiesta of Five Flags - Our Fiesta of Five Flags events, which happen throughout the year, all lead back to celebrating our founding and our history as the first European settlement in the United States. As America’s Oldest Settlement, we have a lot of history to remember and celebrate.

Summer Music Series - A summer evening in Pensacola is a visit to paradise – warm breezes, water views and brilliant sunsets melting into moonlit waves under starry skies. What better way to enjoy them than with free music and friends?
