Jaco's Bayfront Bar & Grille

Jacos

Jaco's is the perfect happy hour spot as well as a casual dinner space. Located on the Pensacola Marina, Jaco's envelops all of the senses. You can hear the seagulls chirping and enjoy a cold glass of Chardonnay while watching the boats dock on the marina. They also feature a monthly artist on the walls as part of their dining experience.

Some of our favorites from the menu? The bruschetta appetizer is a perfect mix of traditional and new flavors, served with a bread basket, and is great for sharing. Their Palafox Pasta dish is another "can't miss" with its penne pasta, sausage, olives, and choice of red or white sauce.

George Bistro & Bar

George not only has an incredible menu, but happy hour is Monday-Friday from 3-6 p.m. Cocktails, wine, and beers are available at a great price point, and a limited menu to grab a bite for an early dinner. This is a great time to come if you're looking for casual dining in Pensacola.

Looking for a more romantic vibe? Come in the evening (be sure to make a reservation), grab a glass of wine, and enjoy the dimly lit ambience. From the short rib ravioli to the Brussel sprouts, there's really no wrong answer here. Their chefs are constantly working up new seasonal features to keep you coming back. We should also mention that their Sunday Brunch is absolutely worth it.

The Burrow

Tucked away in the historic Old Sacred Heart Hospital building and featuring an outdoor courtyard garden setting,The Burrow is the kind of spot where cozy comfort food gets a gourmet twist. With its rotating seasonal menu and welcoming atmosphere, it’s perfect for brunch with friends or a casual date night. Whether you're diving into their signature burger and mac & cheese, sipping a craft cocktail, or catching live local music, The Burrow delivers big flavor. Don’t miss their Sunday brunch menu.

The Reservoir

Fresh on the scene and buzzing with energy, The Reservoir is a newer addition to downtown Pensacola’s dining options. Located near the local skate park, it’s perfectly positioned for casual business meet-ups or a laid‑back night out in a speakeasy‑style setting. Known for its amazing sandwiches and burgers, and adorable outdoor gathering space, it’s the go‑to spot. Whether you’ve spent the afternoon catching tricks or strolling around Palafox Street, The Reservoir delivers a cool, chill‑out vibe alongside some great menu options.

The Kennedy

The Kennedy Dining

Step into The Kennedy and you’re stepping back in time. With its sleek mid-century modern design, retro vibes, and polished cocktail program, this downtown Pensacola bar is equal parts classy and cool. Whether you're sipping an Old Fashioned at the marble bar or lounging in a leather booth with friends, The Kennedy offers a throwback atmosphere that feels timeless. Their food is great for a snack to grab with any martini on the menu. We also love the "First Lady" and "Cadillac Ranch" cocktails. It’s the perfect spot for date night drinks, post-dinner lounging, or a sophisticated start to your evening on the town.

Carmen's Lunch Bar and Tapas

Carmen's is one of our favorite lunch spots to pop into while strolling Palafox. You'll find a seat at the bar, which brings in a cozy, intimate environment. There are several soups, salads, and sandwiches galore. The Chicken Salad packs a ton of flavor with plenty of texture mixed in. You can get it on the salad or a bread of your choice.

The Wine Bar

Two neighborhoods to choose from, both wine bars! With two great locations (Downtown on Palafox and East Hill on 12th Ave.), The Wine Bar is a great spot to sip and savor. The Palafox location has the best outdoor seating available. There is shade available or street-side seating if you like to people-watch. The East Hill location is more of a neighborhood vibe, which is great to take a load off after work or catch up with friends on a quiet evening. Not only is there a vast wine selection, but plenty of shareable-sized appetizers. Share a charcuterie board or flatbread with friends or get your own pasta dish; there are plenty of options at the Wine Bar, either location!
