Johnson Beach - Gulf Islands National Seashore
Johnson Beach is a designated recreational area in Perdido Key on the Gulf Islands National Seashore. The area provides lifeguards, facilities and a parking lot and is ideal for water-based recreational activities and hiking. The area is well-known for the Discovery Nature Trail, a raised boardwalk that is roughly half a mile that takes visitors through dunes, pine trees and salt marsh outlooks. Entrance fees are required and collected upon admittance into the park.
