Award-Winning Pensacola Paw-di Gras Returns to Downtown Pensacola for Its 6th Annual Celebration

PENSACOLA, Fla. — The dinosaurs are coming to Downtown Pensacola... and they're bringing hundreds of dogs with them.
The 6th Annual Pensacola Paw-di Gras, hosted by WolfGang Pensacola, returns on Sunday, January 24, 2027, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., transforming Garden Street between Palafox and Tarragona Streets into the Gulf Coast's largest Mardi Gras celebration for dogs and the people who love them.

Presented by Perfect Plain Brewery, Hanto & Clarke, and The Jet 100.7, the award-winning event benefits the Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare, with proceeds helping local animals through medical care, heartworm treatment sponsorships, adoption initiatives, and other lifesaving programs.

This year's theme, "Jurassic Bark," invites attendees to unleash their prehistoric creativity as Downtown Pensacola comes alive with dinosaurs, dogs, costumes, and a full day of family-friendly entertainment.
Now entering its sixth year, Pensacola Paw-di Gras has become one of the Gulf Coast's signature pet-friendly festivals and one of Downtown Pensacola's most anticipated annual community events. The event has been recognized as Best Pet Event for two consecutive years, while also earning Runner-Up for Best Charity Event and Runner-Up for Best Parade for two years in a row.

The 5th Annual Pensacola Paw-di Gras welcomed more than 6,000 attendees and featured over 300 dogs participating in the beloved Paw-rade. Since the event began, WolfGang Pensacola and the Pensacola community have helped raise more than $100,000 to support local animals in need through the Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare.

Visitors can enjoy an entire afternoon of activities for both two-legged and four-legged family members, including:
