E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial is a 1982 American science fantasy film produced and directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Melissa Mathison. It tells the story of Elliott, a young boy who discovers and befriends a stranded extraterrestrial he names E.T. As a quiet suburban life turns into an extraordinary adventure, Elliott and his siblings must protect their new friend and help him find his way home before government forces close in.
Inspired by an imaginary companion Spielberg created in his childhood, the film was brought to life with a deeply personal script by Mathison and groundbreaking animatronics designed by Carlo Rambaldi. Parking Instructions
The Saenger Theatre does not have a parking lot adjacent to the venue. There are three on-street public ADA parking spaces near the Saenger. A two-hour, free ADA parking spot is located directly in front of the Saenger on Palafox Place.Two, meter-paid ADA parking spots on Jefferson Street on both the East and West sides of the street South of Intendencia. Use the Intendencia Street entrance if parking in these spots.In addition to the on-street parking, there are ADA parking spaces in the Jefferson Street Parking Garage, on Jefferson just North of Romana, and in the Intendencia Street Parking Garage on Intendencia Street just west of Palafox.
