Julio Fest
Costa Latina is preparing a summer fiesta to celebrate the cultures and communities of Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, Peru, Puerto Rico and the USA. All of these countries celebrate their independence days (and Commonwealth Day) in July. That’s why we’re calling this event Julio Fest. Vendors can register at www.latinomediainc.com/juliofest.
We want to celebrate more than national holidays. If your name is Julio, your birthday or anniversary is in July, this festival is for you. Also observed in July are National Bikini Day (July 5) National Fried Chicken Day (July 6) National Fried Chicken Day (July 7), World Chocolate Day, National French Fry Day, (July 13), World Emoji Day (July 17), National Ice Cream Day (July 19), National Mood Day, commemorating the Apollo 11 moon landing (July 20), National Cousins Day (July 24), National Disability Independence Day, the anniversary of the ADA (July 26) and National Avocado Day (July 31).
There is so much more to celebrate in July including National Grilling Month and National Picnic Month, so make plans to celebrate with us on Saturday, July 11 from 2 until 9 p.m. at Museum Plaza in Downtown Pensacola. We’ll have lots of summertime activities, food, music and fun for the whole family. Follow us on Facebook.com/latinomedia for updates!
