Pensacola Symphony Orchestra Presents Rubardt Conducts Brahms
Experience an unforgettable evening of orchestral music, featuring three extraordinary works that explore the depths of human emotion. The concert begins with the dark intensity and sweeping emotion of Robert Schumann’s Manfred Overture, a gripping musical portrayal inspired by Lord Byron’s poem of guilt, morality, and the human condition. Principal Cellist of The Cleveland Orchestra Mark Kosower returns with Principal Cellist of the Canton Symphony Mingyao Zhao, for a special performance of Northwest Florida composer David Ott’s Concerto for Two Cellos. The evening culminates with the monumental grandeur of Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 1, a masterpiece of soaring melodies, powerful drama, and hard-won triumph.
Tickets begin at $26. For additional information, visit PensacolaSymphony.com.
