Photosensitive: What the Light Leaves Behind.
Join us at Brent Lofts (📍17 Palafox Pl.) as we welcome exhibiting artist Yvonne Christine and her newest body of work, Photosensitive: What the Light Leaves Behind.
This exhibition brings together alternative photographic processes — including turmeric prints, experimental cyanotypes, and pinhole photography — layered through mixed media materials. The work explores the dynamic relationship between flora and fauna, light and shadow, and the subtle imprints left by time and exposure.
“Photosensitive” speaks to both the chemistry of image-making and the vulnerability of being human — how light alters materials, and how experience alters us.
Yvonne will be onsite during Gallery Night to answer questions about her process, materials, and the stories behind the work. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase her handmade jewelry and pottery.
