Portside Pickle: Dinks for Dolly - Women's Double Tournament

Pour yourself a cup of ambition and grab your favorite doubles partner because Dinks for Dolly is coming to Portside Pickle.

We’re turning the courts into a pink, rhinestoned country paradise for a women’s doubles tournament celebrating the music, style, and heart of Dolly Parton. Expect competitive pickleball, big hair, rhinestones, and plenty of Dolly-inspired fun.

20% of all proceeds will be donated to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, helping put books into the hands of children across the United States. Plus, every book donated through our raffle will be donated directly to Gulf Coast Kid’s House.

Tournament Details

Format:

Women’s Doubles: fixed partners, round-robin play followed by a single-elimination bracket. DUPR Rating not required, but DUPR account signup highly encouraged.

Dolly’s DUPR Divisions:

• The “9 to 5” Division: Beginner (2.0–2.9)

• The “Islands in the Stream” Division: Intermediate (3.0–3.5)

• The “Jolene” Division: Intermediate/Advanced (3.5–4.0)

• The “I Will Always Love You” Division: Advanced (4.0+)

$60 per player. Registration includes tournament entry, automatic entrance into our paddle raffles, and eligibility for our Dolly-inspired Costume Contest.

Raffle Details

Bring a new or gently loved children’s book to donate to Gulf Coast Kid’s House and receive a raffle entry for every book you bring. So, just like Dolly, you can help build a love of reading while getting a chance to win.

No books? No problem. Every purchase of a bucket of seltzers or beer and bottles of wine get you an additional raffle ticket.

Prizes will vary from pickleball paddles to swag bags, but in the true spirit of Dolly, they’ll all be fabulous.

Costume Contest Details

This is your excuse to go full Dolly. Think big hair, rhinestones, fringe, boots, sequins, pink, and plenty of country glam. Costume prizes will be awarded to the top three costumes, so bring your Dolly best.

We’ll also have vendors, a food truck, and DJs slinging the best of Dolly, making this more than just a tournament. It’s a whole charity event for anyone and everyone.
