Side Show is a powerful musical about two young women who were an attraction in a circus side show yet dared to hope for a better life, a “normal life.”

In the 1920’s-1930’s, The Hilton Sisters became vaudeville stars who toured as singer/dancers with Bob Hope and appeared in Hollywood films, but Daisy and Violet Hilton began their career in a Freak Show. They were conjoined twins. This is their story.

Presented by both local and nationally performing actors with a live band, Side Show is a poignant and intriguing look into two unique lives. It opened on Broadway in 1997 and to this day has a strong cult following. With circus, side show, freak show, and community themes, Side Show is appropriate for elementary school ages and up.

Before each performance, outside of The Gordon, a rotating display of attractions will be free to all. Anyone can attend the outdoor attractions, whether one has a ticket to the show or not. Other Foo Foo Fest participants will share about their events, community groups will share about their activities, and music and games will provide pre-show entertainment.
