Visit Pensacola Storytelling Series featuring Pensacola and Perdido Bays Estuary Program
Visit Pensacola is launching a new monthly storytelling series at the Visitor’s Center, designed to engage locals and tourists alike, especially those who may not be familiar with our center or Pensacola's rich history. Each session will highlight different chapters of our community’s past, from naval and settlement history to the cultural and environmental evolution of the city. Topics will cover Native American heritage, African American history, local cuisine, the arts, and more.
Celebrate Spring Break with a fun and meaningful family-friendly experience at the Visit Pensacola Visitor Center! On Friday, March 20, from 10–11 a.m., kids are invited to get creative while learning about the importance of our local waterways. In partnership with the Pensacola and Perdido Bay Estuary Program, this interactive program combines hands-on fun with environmental education. Young participants will decorate oyster shells and “leave their mark on the bay,” contributing to future restoration efforts that help protect and preserve the Pensacola Bay area.
