Visit Pensacola Storytelling Series: From the 1500s with Love: Celebrate America 250

Visit Pensacola is launching a new monthly storytelling series at the Visitor’s Center, designed to engage locals and tourists alike, especially those who may not be familiar with our center or Pensacola's rich history. Each session will highlight different chapters of our community’s past, from naval and settlement history to the cultural and environmental evolution of the city. Topics will cover Native American heritage, African American history, local cuisine, the arts, and more.

As America celebrates its 250th birthday, Visit Pensacola is inviting guests to share a little love with America’s First Settlement through a month-long interactive experience inspired by the destination’s From the 1500s with Love campaign. Celebrating Pensacola’s remarkable story, which began in 1559, the experience encourages visitors to stop by either Visitor Information Center throughout July to enjoy patriotic coloring pages, write a love letter or postcard to Pensacola, and take-home commemorative keepsakes.
