Our little coastal berg serves up a bevy of brews.

You’ve heard of our lovely beaches and beautiful sights. But what about brew?

Oh, yes, we have a bevy of them, with over 10 microbreweries in the Pensacola Bay Area — 11 if you count McGuire’s, the granddaddy of them all being the oldest in Florida (born in 1988).

But since then, Pensacola Bay Brewery fermented its first brew in 2010, and now even bottles its beer for sale in local and regional retail and locales. Today, a keg-load of brewhouses are sprinkled throughout the Pensacola Bay Area, each with its own unique community flavors.

1Perfect Plain Brewing Co.

50 E. Garden Street Pensacola, FL 32502

Located in the heart of downtown Pensacola, our facility is the original location of Perfect Plain Brewing Company’s brewery and taproom.

Designed to bring people together in a spacious, welcome environment, the taproom is a fully immersive experience with long communal tables and our entire 10-barrel brewhouse exposed within the gathering area. Portions of our building date back more than 75 years, and architectural signs of decades’ past have been preserved in our space.

We completed our taproom with an expansive, dog-friendly patio facing historic Garden Street.

In 1764, when Garden Street was the northern border of Pensacola’s small downtown core, any resident who purchased land was given a companion parcel to use for a garden. To this day, the boundary lines of Perfect Plain’s space fits the original “Garden lot” dimensions.

McGuire's Irish Pub is dedicated to warm and friendly service to our guests by employees who give a damn. If we are not proud of it, we will not serve it! McGuire's Irish Pub first opened in 1977 as a small neighborhood pub in a shopping center. McGuire cooked and tended bar and Molly waited tables and greeted customers. When Molly made her first tip -one dollar- she tacked it to the back bar for good luck. Friends of the pub added to the collection and it soon became tradition. Today you will see over $250,000 one dollar bills hanging from the ceiling throughout the Pub, all of which have been signed by Irishmen of all nationalities.
In 1982 McGuire's moved to its current location, Pensacola's original 1927 Old Firehouse. The old "firehouse" look has become a true landmark, and inside the pub, a turn-of-the-century, New York Irish Saloon theme reigns. Guests are often in "awe" as they pass through the theme-oriented rooms at McGuire's. Whether it's the Pipers Den, Notre Dame Room, The Irish Links Room or the Ruprecht O'Tolf Wine Cellar, McGuire's Irish Pub is a 400-seat, 20,000 square foot landmark with a staff of over 200 warm and friendly faces.

Come visit, taste a sample of our delicious brew and talk with our brew masters.
