SkillsUSA Florida State Championships will make its fifth return to Pensacola April 7-10. The event is estimated to attract over 3,000 students, teachers and family members. Visit Pensacola will help welcome attendees during registration and will attend the Skills Worlds of Possibilities days to discuss workforce opportunities.

Pensacola to host two fly-ins for two unique associations.

99'sTwo pilot organizations have scheduled meetings in Pensacola and attendees will arrive in their personal planes. The Ninety-Nines, an international organization of licensed women pilots, will be in Pensacola May 15-19 for its 2019 Southeast Section Spring Meeting. Established in 1929 by 99 women pilots, the organization is currently celebrating its 90th Anniversary.

To add, the Flying Physicians Association (FPA) will host its winter Board Meeting in Pensacola in January 2020. FPA members are physician-pilots with a mission to promote safety, education, and human-interest projects relating to medicine and aviation. The physicians and their family members will spend two days exploring Pensacola with two days of meetings.

Pensacola to Be Included in Upcoming Gold Medal Travel Brochure

DNATA Gold Medal Travel DNATA Gold Medal Travel, one of the United Kingdom’s premier tour operators, will be including Pensacola in a new Northwest Florida section of their Travel2 Florida 2019-20 brochure. DNATA operates over 200 travel outlets worldwide and booked 4.2 million trips in 2018. Visit Pensacola met with DNATA representatives at Florida Huddle in January, Visit Florida’s international trade event that matches DMO’s and accommodations with international operators interested in learning about Pensacola and our region.

IPW: Bringing the World Together

IPWTourism partners are invited to join Visit Pensacola in June when we attend the largest international trade event held in the United State, IPW. Like Florida Huddle but on a much larger scale, IPW is a great opportunity to meet with international operators and increase bookings.
