Meet the Board – David Kemp

David KempHailing from London England, David Kemp came to Pensacola in 1994 on a soccer scholarship to UWF. Following a successful stint at University, Kemp began coaching in the community at local clubs and hosting clinics before securing a full-time position in Hawaii for two years. The beaches were so nice in Pensacola that he returned after two years, taking the position as the Director of Gulf Coast Texans (GCT).

Since his start at GCT, the club has tripled in size and expanded to divisions in Mobile, Fort Walton, and Fairhope. Under his direction, the GCT youth club garnered two state championship titles and multiple state final four appearances. To date, he has overseen the placements of almost 200 college athletes and has coached over 10 PNJ Players of the year.

David is also the owner of Pensacola Football Club (PFC), an adult minor league soccer club. Under his tutelage, the club received top honors winning two national championship titles. He is the proud recipient of four Pensacola Sports awards.

David resides in Pensacola with his wife Jennifer and their daughter Leia. On his days off he enjoys cooking, watching MMA, snorkeling, and going for a long, trail run.
