Pensacola, Fla. – Annually, Visit Pensacola allocates funds to its event grant program for local groups and organizations that coordinate events or visitor experiences with a demonstrated history of visitor impact or significant potential to draw visitors to the area. Since implementing the program in 2015, Visit Pensacola has awarded over $1.6 million to numerous events and organizations within Escambia County.

“Following a year off due to budget restraints and the pandemic, we’re very excited to see the return of the program,” President and CEO Darien Schaefer said. “These dollars will provide valuable support to events in our community and allow them the opportunity to market people they otherwise might not be able to.”

Event grant recipients include:

Gulf Coast Blues Festival: Nov. 26-28

Pensacola Dragon Boat Festival: Oct. 9

Winterfest: Nov. 26-Dec. 24

Pensacola Interstate Fair: Oct. 21-31

Pensacola Mardi Gras: Jan. 7-March 1

Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival: Nov. 4-14

Pensacon: Feb. 18-20

Mahabhuta Vegan Yoga Festival: Nov. 12-14

Pensacola Habitat Food Truck Festival: March 11-13

For anyone seeking funds less than $4,999.99, mini-grants are available year-round. For those interested in applying, please email nstacey@visitpensacola.com to learn more about guidelines and requirements.
