Pensacola, FL – Applications for the Visit Pensacola Board of Directors are now open. Open positions for the board include the following:
• Sports & Recreation
• Retail, Attractions, & Events
• At-Large
Visit Pensacola is governed by an 11-member board. The positions of the board are diverse in region and employment so that the organization's mission, to support tourism growth in Escambia County, remains balanced and inclusive.
To be eligible for Visit Pensacola’s Board of Directors, applicants must work for a business based in Escambia County and be an existing partner of the organization in good standing, and meet the qualifications for the specific position to which they are applying. The Board of Directors’ term of service will begin with the start of Visit Pensacola’s fiscal year on October 1, 2026.
Duties of the board include:
• Have a vested interest in growing hospitality and tourism as an economic engine for Escambia County.
• Attending board and committee meetings regularly - meetings held monthly.• Help create and implement the vision for Visit Pensacola.
• Define and implement the objectives of Visit Pensacola’s strategic plan.
• Represent the corporation's interests and serve as an advocate for tourism.
