As a native of the Pensacola Bay Area, I sometimes used to overlook just how good we have it here. It wasn’t until I was living in the Midwest that I realized why people vacation and retire to the beach and just how truly lucky I am to call Pensacola my home. In a month rooted in gratitude, we’re bringing you a few things we’re grateful for in the Pensacola Bay Area.
Libations that will perk you up and knock you down
Whether you’re looking for a quick shot of espresso in the morning to get you going or something to wind you down after work, we’ve got you covered. Here are a few of our favorites.
Endless Food Fares
You know that scene in Forest Gump where Bubba is talking about shrimp explaining all the ways to cook it? That’s kind of how we feel when it comes to our cuisines. You see you can bake it, fry it, blacken it, have it on a pizza, have it on a bun, by the water; you get the point. Below you’ll find a few of our yummiest creations.
Being America’s First Settlement
That’s a title we’re proud of, period. Below are a few of our fun historical stops.

Once the sun goes down, the party begins! Pensacola has an unending list of live music venues and places to dance the night away.
An Abundance of Outdoor Fun
With nearly 300 days of infinite sunshine, all we want to do is prance around outside. One thing is for sure is that we’ll never be bored. Here are a few of our favorite outdoor activities.
